Michael T. Harris, MD, is a senior healthcare executive with over 25 years of progressive enterprise-wide health system operations accountability and clinical leadership in multispecialty practice, community medical center, and large academic settings. He is an experienced leader with the demonstrated ability to articulate vision and to initiate and facilitate programs and teams to achieve transformational change, operational excellence, and clinical quality across all levels of provider organizations and systems. He is a proven driver of growth and financial efficiency, builder of aligned physician networks, and change agent for culture of excellence and safety. Dr. Harris is a recognized mentor for leadership development of clinical and non-clinical executives in a variety of healthcare settings. In 2019 he stepped down from his role as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Englewood Health, and retired from a 30-year clinical career as an internationally recognized reconstructive gastrointestinal surgeon.
Dr. Harris works with physician and non-clinical leaders, including practice leaders, service chiefs, department chairs, administrators, nurse leaders, medical staff officers, C-suite executives, and boards, in large academic and community settings. He has been working with individuals and teams across North America for over 15 years. He formed MTH Health in order to have increased impact through full-time focus.
